Artist Statement:
Tarot cards use visual imagery to quickly deliver desired messages. Their combinations can express a great number of “phrases.” This work shows the progression from the unexpected upsetting strike, to sadness, to strength of character, determination, and work, and finally to riding to the ultimate victory. This is a symbol of our way to triumph over the great and unexpected disruptions brought by the coronavirus pandemics.
