Developing a Mobile App for Massachusetts Rivers Alliance
By Quan Dinh, Joshua Lee, Connor White, Randy Zhang
Our Project:
In collaboration with Massachusetts Rivers Alliance, the goal of our project was to develop a mobile app that makes information about river recreation in Massachusetts more accessible to the public in an effort to contribute to Mass River’s mission. We used an iterative process of identifying contents, designs, and features to develop the app. We designed the app’s components by integrating the sponsor’s expectations, potential users’ preferences, and best practices. We successfully developed a mobile app, a maintenance manual, and instructions for publishing the app, as well as recommendations for future enhancements. We hope this new app can contribute to the advocacy of rivers.
