How has your identity evolved in your time at WPI?
While at WPI, my perspective remained unchanged; I knew the institution would perfectly align with my aspirations and the areas I wish to enhance. What caught my attention, however, was the scant representation of minorities who share my identity within the program. This realization underscored the importance of my commitment to exerting effort to make my presence felt.

How is diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging present in your experience at WPI?
WPI has embodied the principles of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging throughout my experience there. The diversity is evident in the assortment of staff holding key positions, which instills confidence in the school’s commitment to inclusivity. This was not only reassuring but also motivating for me as a student.

In your graduate school search, what made WPI stand out from other higher education institutions?
What distinguished WPI from other higher education institutions in my graduate school search was its unique instructional approach and the supportive guidance provided by advisors throughout the academic journey. The course content was relevant and up-to-date, adding value to the learning process. Furthermore, the enticing financial incentives were an added advantage too significant to overlook. The proximity of the School to me was an encouraging factor as well.

Since starting at WPI, what are some of your proudest achievements?
Since embarking on my journey at WPI, some of my most noteworthy accomplishments include completing my capstone project, in which I invested significant time and effort. I had the privilege to work alongside a team of professional and highly knowledgeable individuals, which was a rewarding experience. Additionally, I excelled in my Operations and Information Engineering (OIE) courses and quantitative marketing classes, which were all incredibly enriching.

If there’s one word you could use to describe your graduate experience with WPI, what would it be and why?
Phenomenal!

Is there anything else you would like the community to know about you?
I want the community to know that I am not just a diligent student but deeply committed to diversity and inclusion. My experience at WPI has strengthened my academic foundation and shaped my perspective on the significance of representation. My motivation to make my presence felt in spaces where minorities like me are underrepresented is a testament to this commitment. Moreover, I relish team-oriented environments and thrive collaboratively, as evidenced by my successful teamwork during my capstone project. Finally, I am always eager to engage with relevant and up-to-date course materials and find great value in financial literacy, guiding my choices regarding financial incentives in education.
