Dale Ross (R) is the mayor of Georgetown in Texas which is the first city in Texas to transition to 100% renewable energy and is the largest city in the country to do so. He talks about how his city transitioned and how it can be an example for the rest of the country. He also talks about ways to support coal miners and their families, a way to transition them to new jobs as well and not just abandon them when all they know is coal mining. This goes along with the discussion we had in class on Tuesday December 4.
