Jiawei Yang received prestigious NSF CAREER Award on developing bioadhesive implants

We will work on “Modular Design of Bioadhesives for Implantation”, aiming to develop next-generation bioadhesive implants with tissue-matching elasticity for safe and reliable long-term implantation. This project will also engage young generations in biomaterial research and increase public awareness of hydrogel bioadhesive technologies to amplify the scientific and societal impacts.
