the puppy with his nose to Gompei

Fenwick, a black lab puppy in training to be a guide dog, gave Gompei a curious sniff when she met him for the first time this summer. Despite Fenwick’s obvious charms, Gompei was as stoic as always. Phi Kappa Theta brothers Alex Sawicki ’27, robotics engineering, and Clay Ramus ’27, electrical and computer engineering, will be devoting the next year to training Fenwick to be a helpful canine assistant for the Guide Dog Foundation. Phi Kappa Theta brothers have helped train four other guide dogs since 2019. Follow Fenwick on Instagram: @pupperkappatheta.
