MHT Students – CARD Poster Winners

We are pleased to announce that Mana Masrouri, Hanshen Yu, Zahra Nazariharavani, and Itamar Harris were poster winners at CARD’s Spring 2025 poster competition that was held May 28-30, 2025 at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, Champaign, IL.

Mana Masrouri won second place for her work on “Hybrid EHD-Driven Heat Pump for Moderate/High Temperature Drying – A Novel Drying Technology”. Hanshen Yu won third place for his research on “Integrated Optimization of Drying Sequences and Process Parameters in Multi-Technology Smart Dryers”.

Itamar Harris received an honorable mention for her research on “Heating, Baking, Drying with Laser Technology for Food, Pulp and Paper, and Chemicals Industry Sector”, and Zahra Nazariharavani received an honorable mention for her research on “Performance Evaluation of Atmospheric Plasma Pretreatments for Enhanced Drying in CARD Smart Dryer”.
