MHT Researchers Provide Invaluable Data to International Space Station

In Fall 2019, two WPI Ph.D. students from the Multi-Scale Heat Transfer Laboratory, Nathaniel O’Connor and Alexander Castaneda, along with collaborators from Goddard Space Flight Center performed EHD experiments on several parabolic flights. These experiments provided valuable microgravity data to the team, paving the way for sending the Electrically-Driven Liquid Film Flow Boiling experiment to the International Space Station.
