Start off with the following (3) shared courses:
Delivery: Blended, Online cohort format

  • OBC 505. Teaming and Organizing for Innovation
  • OIE 542. Risk Management & Decision Analysis
  • MIS 576. Project Management

Choose from a Graduate Certificate (Mechanical Engineering Technical Leaders) or a full Master of Science.
The following courses are delivered fully online in a convenient, asynchronous format.

GRADUATE CERTIFICATE – METL (18-credits)

Choose 1 course from each focus area (All METL courses are 2-credits with the exception of System Modeling, which is 3-credits)

  • Fluids
  • Structures
  • Materials
  • System Modeling

MASTERS (30-credits)

  • MA 501. Engineering Mathematics
    or
  • MA 511. Applied Statistics for Engineers or Scientists
  • Balance of credits in ME courses

Semester lengths may vary depending on the track you choose. Please refer to your program’s course rotation.

    • Bachelor’s degree with a 3.0+GPA from ABET-accredited program in Mechanical Engineering or related field
    • Undergrad mathematics coursework includes Advanced Calculus, Differential Equations, and Linear Algebra
