The team has qualified for USCSA Regionals and Nationals!

Cera came to WPI from Hunter, NY. He is a former WPI Ski Team President and helped lead the Engineers on 4 trips to the USCSA National Championships during his athletic carrier at WPI. He graduated with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, and a M.S. in Materials Science and Engineering. He has continued to support the team since his time in college, and took over the Assistant Coach position in 2010. His strong focus on fundamentals help the team get race ready each season. His desire is that every athlete under him walks away with the amazing experience he enjoyed while being a part of the WPI Ski Team.

Mark Sullivan has been with the WPI Ski Teams for the past 25 years. During this time, the WPI Alpine Ski Team has been represented at the Eastern Regional Championships every year and the USCSA National Championships 6 times. Mark expects the team will continue their successful record through constant improvements of the ski program and the skiers’ dedication. Mark served as the Eastern Collegiate Ski Conference Chairman for 14 years and served on the USCSA Executive Board of Directors for 14 years in the positions of Vice President of Alpine Competition, Executive Vice President and President. Mark is a USSA Level I certified coach and FIS TD. In both 2001 & 2002 Mark was bestowed with the honor of being selected as the ECSC Coach of the Year. In 2006 Mark received the USCSA’s highest honor, the Holger Peterson Award, reserved for recognition of outstanding service to the organization on its Board of Directors. Mark’s greatest desire as a coach is for his skiers to realize their full potential as part of team both on and off the slopes while at WPI.
