The 17th Arab International Aluminum Conference 2013 was held in Saadiyat Island, Abu Dhabi, November 5-7, 2013.  Diran Apelian, WPI Professor and Director of the Metal Processing Institute (MPI), presented Knowledge Creation and Innovation Through Partnerships and Collaboration.  Arabal is the premier trade event for the Middle East’s aluminum industry.
