MQP Info

  • Finding a project (Junior Year, D-Term):
    • Watch your email for when project registration opens.
    • When a project becomes available, you can find it on eProjects or the BME MQP Canvas Page.
    • Fill in the Project Preference Survey ASAP.
    • Contact Advisors whose projects you are interested in participating in.  Include a resume and unofficial transcript (just PDF from workday) with a note of why you’re interested in the project
  • MQP Advisor Declaration Form (Senior Year A-Term):
    • At the start of your project, all BME students will receive a survey. This form will ask you to acknowledge the project expectations and provide the names of all team members and your project advisors.
  • Undergraduate Research Projects Showcase (Senior Year D-Term):

    • All students do a 12-minute presentation, with a 3 minute question and answer period.  The presentations are judged internally by BME Faculty.
    • The 2 top-ranked presentations from round 1 go to the finals which are judged by industrial and clinical stakeholders.
  • Finalize your paper and submit to eCDR:
  • Advisor’s Assessment of ABET MQP Outcomes (Senior Year D-Term):
    • This form is completed at the end of your project, when you submit your final paper.  Please fill in the name of your project, all members of your group, your advisors, and the pages for the ABET Outcomes.  Only one advisor needs to sign it.
