Recruiter’s Toolbox: Free Student Resume Database Trial

Filed in Recruiter's Toolbox by on April 20, 2016

While our recruiting events have quieted down for the season, employers can still use a great tool to identify candidates for full-time, co-op, or summer positions. WPI’s student resume database houses resumes of current students and recent alumni who have opted to be included. Employers may purchase access to the database for a period of one year, from July 1 to June 30, for $200. A prorated fee is now available for access through June 2016 for $75.

In order to continue facilitating connections between employers and students, last fall the CDC initiated an additional option for our employer partners. Companies may now obtain complimentary access to our student resumes for one week (Monday – Friday) during the year when they have a job posted in our Job Finder system. This option allows you and your team to try out the system before committing to purchase access for the whole year.

We have already received positive feedback from employers who have used the free trial, particularly when they paired it with the career fair or their on-campus recruiting events. Identifying candidates of interest and reaching out to them personally often leads to a more successful information session, career fair table, or on-campus interview day.
