Researchers Tour Sappi Pulp and Paper Mill

On June 16th, a CARD team led by Dr. Yuxiang (Shawn) Liu, visited the integrated pulp and paper mill of Sappi located in Maine. Having the opportunity to see the plant in operation will greatly assist the researchers with future industrial drying projects.
Sappi Limited, originally incorporated as South African Pulp and Paper Industries Limited in 1936, is a South African pulp and paper company with global operations.
