Nathaniel O’Conner Receives ISEHD2022 Award

Nathaniel O’Connor, a Ph.D. Candidate in the Multiscale Heat Transfer Laboratory at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, attended the International Symposium on ElectroHydroDynamics (ISEHD2022) in Otaru, Hokkaido, Japan. He presented recent work on fundamentally understanding the effect of temperature on electrohydrodynamic conduction phenomenon in preparation for the EHD liquid film flow boiling experiment on the ISS. Such understanding is vital for future implementation of EHD pumping mechanisms in harsh thermal environments such as space.

His presentation received the ISEHD2022 student oral presentation award. Congratulations, Nathaniel!
