Apelian Receives 2015 John Campbell Medal

On October 10, 2015, Diran Apelian, Director of the Metal Processing Institute at WPI, received the prestigious John Campbell Medal from the Institute of Cast Metals Engineers at the Botanical Gardens in Birmingham, England. The award is named in honor of John Campbell, who presented the medal to Diran. Campbell is one of the world’s leading experts on casting, with approximately 150 papers and 20 patents.
