Kinetic Batteries Project Wins Kalenian Award

The Kalenian Award competition came to a close on November fifteenth at the Venture Forum. Paul Kalenian spoke about the excellent innovation ecosystem at WPI and announced this year’s winners.
There were 19 teams competing this year. Two teams split the $20,000 prize evenly.
- Kinetic Batteries: Aaron Birt, Ali Valamanesh (Diran Apelian)
- Autonomous Aircraft: Nicholas Cyganski, Benjamin Gillette, Killian Henson, Xavier Little, Erik Nadel, Tyler Nickerson, and Keshuai Xu (Fred Looft, Mike Ciaraldi)
