Happy Open Education Week!

Want to explore open education and open educational resources? Curious what it’s all about?

You’ve picked the perfect time, Open Education Week 2022, when teachers and universities around the world are sharing how they are taking action to reduce the cost of learning materials for students and open up educational resources to students everywhere.

SPARC, a global leader in opening up scholarship and learning, is hosting a special event Tuesday March 18 (1pm ET), Breaking Down Silos in Open Education: Strategies for Collaboration (Register Here), and sharing 2021’s Open Education Conference session recordings – Access Recordings Here.

And there’s more:  Open Education Week offers a global menu of Activities and Events from New Zealand to Seattle to Estonia; a selection of assets shared by others, ranging from a student-led book project, Decolonization and Justice: An Introductory Overview, to a handbook from Europe, Digital Learning During the Pandemic that showcases best practices and examples of digital learning during the pandemic.

For more, check out our “resources” page and join us this week for more ideas, resources, inspiration, and opportunities to engage with this global movement.
