My lab mainly works on the circuit and system design of biomedical sensing interfaces and wireless power transmission systems for applications in the biomedical IoT. Next-generation clinical and telemedical diagnostic devices require monitoring and measurements from inside and outside of the body via implantable and wearable sensors. We developed miniaturized next-generation biomedical devices to enhance our understanding of biophysical processes and contributing to the diagnosis of anomalies.
Faculty Advisor: Ulkuhan Guler | WPI (Electrical & Computer Engineering)
Teacher Component: The teacher who will be mentored about the next-generation biomedical devices will get an opportunity to I) contribute to the exterior design of a novel transcutaneous oxygen sensor for comfortable human use, II) develop testing scenarios for long-term use, and III) give feedback about user experience.
