Applications for the 2025-26 RET cohort are open January 2 – February 19, 2025. The application is through the NSF Education & Training Application (ETAP) system, and requires applicants to complete the  NSF registration form. 

Before completing the application, please review the 2025 RET research projects in order to rank your references. A preview of the short answer questions is as follows: 

• Why are you interested in this RET program?
• How do you envision utilizing this research experience in your teaching?
• How might you contribute to the cohort of pre-service and in-service teachers during the summer and the following school year?
