Get tips on using TouchTomorrow in your classroom!

Learn how to navigate the event website and identify information and activities to use with your students.  There are three opportunities to choose from:

Take advantage of Educator Workshops with WPI’s STEM Education Center!

Back by popular demand, Workshops for Educators, offered by WPI’s STEM Education Center!  All workshops are 1-hour long and are open to educators and parents interested in learning about high-quality STEM education (adults only please).  Certificate of participation will be awarded upon request.

All workshops will be offered from 7:00 – 8:00 pm EST.

  • Monday, June 7 | STEM with Little Kids in Big Ways
    For educators of students in grades PK-2
    Interested in learning how to incorporate STEM/STEAM into PK-3 classrooms? Join this workshop to engage with our new Seeds of STEM PK-K curriculum and the I am STEM library. Explore STEM integration through videos and classroom examples, try an activity, and connect with colleagues.
  • Tuesday, June 8 | Solving Real World Problems
    For educators of students in grades PK-12
    Integrated STEM focuses on making connections between school and the real world, but how does one come up with real world problems? Join us to experience a simple process for turning grade-level standards into real-world problems for your students. Multiple examples will be provided.
  • Wednesday, June 9 | Equity, Inclusion & Antiracism for High Quality STEM Learning
    For educators of students in grades PK-12
    Why  is diversity of opinions and experiences important? Come explore different case studies to learn what the consequences are when STEM organizations lack diversity. Join others in discussion about classroom strategies that make STEM accessible to your students, and gain tips for classroom implementation.
  • Thursday, June 10| Everything STEM Teachers Need to Know about WPI’s STEM Certificate Course
    For educators of students in grades PK-12 
    Looking to become a STEM certified teacher? Join us to learn about the STEM Education Center’s STEM Educator Certificate course. You will learn about the different course modules, review integrated STEM projects created by course participants, and experience the interactive nature of the course through a group activity.
