Story time with Colonel Gilpin

Colonel Kerry Gilpin will visit the Massachusetts State Police Museum and Learning Center to read the story “Toto and the Tornado Kitten.”  She will be joined by author Jonathan Hall and Toto!  members of the MSP will also be on hand to speak to the children about their work, equipment used, and will be introduced to some of the STEM involved.  Trooper Chad Tata will be in attendance with Luna the MSP comfort dog.  Children will then be able to participate in 2 hands-on STEM activities focusing on weather.  The will be able to make a tornado in a bottle and rain clouds in a cup.
