Workshops for Educators
TouchTomorrow for Educators 2018
Join us at the TouchTomorrow Festival on June 9, 2018!
Back by popular demand, TouchTomorrow for Educators 2018! The STEM Education Center is offering four STEM workshops for PK-12 educators in formal, informal, and home school settings (adults only, please). Join us to learn about bringing STEM to your students through robotics and engineering challenges, and about the many opportunities to engage with the STEM Education Center or at your school.
The workshops will feature some of the Center’s most sought-after offerings:
- 10:00 – 11:00am | Teaching STEM and Engineering Design
- 11:30am – 12:30pm | Seeds of STEM: Problem-based STEM curriculum for young children (for educators/parents of children grade PK-2)
- 1:00 – 2:00pm | Teaching Robotics (for educators/parents of students grades 4 and up)
- 2:30 – 3:30pm | Epidemic Crisis and Public Behavior: System Dynamics & Modeling as pedagogical approaches (for educators/parents of students grades 6 and up)
Please note if you joined us last year we welcome you to register again as the workshops will feature different projects.
The workshops are free and limited to 20 participants. Registration is required to secure your spot.
