The Filtration Game:

Get hands-on experience with water filtration, have some fun, and learn about the various operating variables and design possibilities that affect the filtration process. We will focus on three important ones. These are the media used for filtration, the filtration efficiency, and the rate of filtration. Through this design challenge, we will be answering these questions:  How fast can we filter material? How much reduction in turbidity can be achieved (how clear will the water be after it has been filtered)?  And, what is it going to cost?
