Larry Hershoff is not a WPI graduate, but as you’ll see in this video message, his life has been indelibly shaped by WPI. Larry’s father, Len, graduated from WPI in 1943 and became a vacuum tube expert, eventually settling at IBM for the bulk of his career. According to Larry, his father never forgot the scholarship that made his WPI education possible—the education that enabled his life after graduation and his ability to launch his children’s lives as well.
