Abstract
Issues of funding, staffing and Internet resource opportunities were researched on behalf of the Fire Services Museum of Victoria (FSMV). Contacts within the fire services, grant and philanthropic organizations and the museum community were established to develop supportive relationships that will help build a successful future for the FSMV. Informative resources for the FSMV were identified on the Internet. An Internet training course was created to aid museum volunteers in obtaining the skills to utilize these resources
