Dr. R’s paper published in BMC Pregnancy & Childbirth!

Check out the SEED Lab’s latest paper. Dr. R, Stephanie, and Katy looked into what going to the doctor is like for pregnant and postpartum women when it comes to their weight. The findings suggest that many women experience weight stigma from healthcare providers in some truly shocking ways!



Welcome Hannah and Samantha to the SEED Lab!!

This week we welcomed two new researchers joining the SEED Lab, Hannah Brooks and Samantha Hines! Hannah is a rising junior majoring in biomedical engineering on the pre-med track. Samantha is coming to WPI to study in the new neuroscience masters program!



A New NSF Rapid Grant

Dr. R and several colleagues were awarded the National Science Foundation Grant! Their study will measure stress in college students and impact on learning during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Congratulations to our very own SEED Lab student researchers Tina Gatsonis and Alis Iannacchione who were both accepted to the Summer Training in Arts & Sciences Research (STAR) Program!
