Dr. Angela C. Incollingo Rodriguez
Director
The SEED lab is run by Dr. Angela C. Incollingo Rodriguez, who is an Assistant Professor of Psychological & Cognitive Sciences at WPI. Her humanitarian roots and global travels inspired her research interests. Before joining the faculty at WPI, she received her PhD in Health Psychology from UCLA. Dr. R. uses research as a vehicle to both investigate pressing social issues and to provide training to budding scientists.

Mira is a junior double majoring in Psychological Sciences and Biology/Biotechnology. Outside of the lab, she is part of Active Minds and the Psychological Science Society. In her free time, she enjoys baking, thrifting, and spending quality time with her friends.
Lorena Nunes
Lorena is a junior majoring in Psychological Science. She is also a recipient of the prestigious Kasparian Scholarship.

Hannah Gilmore

Hannah is a junior majoring in Biology/Biotechnology with a minor in Psychology. On campus, she is in the concert band and plays on the girl's club ice hockey team. For outside of school activities, she loves to go to the gym, draw and travel!
Mia Velletri

Mia graduated from WPI in 2022 with a degree in biomedical engineering. Although we are sad she has moved on from WPI, she is sticking around the lab to continue working on an ongoing grant. Outside the lab, she loves playing the guitar and reading.
Gillian Ebeling

Gillian is a senior majoring in biomedical engineering and minoring in psychology and global public health. She is from Rochester, NY and loves to hike, bake, and cook outside of school.
Taylor Johnson

Taylor is a junior majoring in psychological sciences with a biology minor. She is a part of the coffee club, SWE, and competes on WPI’s travel club volleyball team. In her free time you can find her cooking, working out, or working at UMass Memorial as a CNA!
Emily Bendremer

Emily is a senior pursuing a double major in writing and psychology, a minor in theatre, and a masters in management. In her free time she enjoys reading, swimming, and horseback riding.
Maline Demers

Maline is a second year perusing a double major in Biology/Biotechnology and Psychology with a concentration in psychobiology. She is also affiliated with the sorority Phi Sigma Sigma and club Mu Sigma Delta: Pre-Health Society on campus. Outside of the lab, you can find her hiking, travelling, or getting ice cream with her dog!
Kellie Bushe

Kellie is a junior, Biomedical Engineering and Pre-med major at WPI. She is involved in the ROTC and Epworth Lab on campus and recently joined Dr. R's SEED lab after completing her IQP with her. Outside of school, Kellie enjoying working out, running, relaxing, and hanging out with friends.
