Nicole presented at the 2022 WPI Summer Research Showcase

Nicole worked in the Stewart Lab over the summer as part of the Early Research in E-term program. She presented her work on the “Impact of Lactoferrin on Staphylococcus epidermidis Cells and Biofilms”. We enjoyed having her in the lab this summer.

Sydney and Patryck were selected as finalists in the Chemical Engineering and Material Science Division of the Graduate Innovation Research Exchange. They gave their presentations to an audience and panel of judges. They then answered questions about the research from the audience and panel.

Stewart Lab Participates in Virtual 2021 TouchTomorrow Festival

The Stewart Lab put together interactive video demonstrations for kids grade K-12. This included interactive worksheets for different age groups covering a range of topics related to the Stewart Lab research. This included topics like the work of chemical engineering researchers, bacterial biofilms, infection, and the day in the life of a research scientist.
