Prof. Stewart is awarded NSF Engineering Research Initiation Grant to Engineer a Biofilm Infection-on-a-chip for elucidating the host-biofilm interface



Lily presents a poster and rapid-fire talk at the 6th annual Stevens Conference on Bacterial-Material Interactions

Lily received an NSF funded student travel award to attend this conference. She was also one of few students selected to give an oral rapid-fire talk in addition to the poster presentation.



Gabriel Bulacan joins the Stewart Lab for the summer as part of REU program

Gabriel Bulacan is part of the Biomedical Engineering REU program with a site at WPI. He is a current BME student at Pennsylvania State University. He will be working to characterize the dispersal kinetics of epidermidis biofilms under physiological shear stress. Welcome Gabriel!
