In C-term of 2021, a group of students collaborated with the Worcester Community Connections Coalition (WCCC) to digitize a popular resource directory called “the Blue Book”. Afterwards, a prototype website was created for the organization. Our project is a continuation of the previous project. For E-term of 2021, our team will collaborate with the WCCC and Seven Hills Foundation to create a method to edit the Blue Book website contents via CSV files.
Project Sponsor: Worcester Community Connections Coalition
The WCCC was founded in 1998 by a group of parents in Worcester Massachusetts. Their foundational goal is to prevent factors that lead to child abuse and neglect. With that in consideration, the organization has created a resource guide for the Worcester community for those that are in need. Since their founding years, the organization has been acquired by You Inc. and the Seven Hills Foundation. The organization’s current website is here.

Goals and Objectives
Create a tool/form that will allow the WCCC, Seven Hills Foundation, and any service providers of the Blue Book to make edits within the Blue Book website via “CSV files”.
1.) Understand the sponsor and the needs of the Blue Book stakeholders through interviews.
2.) Gain insight on the web design tools necessary to create a tool/form that service providers can use to update Blue Book content via a CSV file.
3.) Design and implement an easy-to-use graphical user interface (GUI) tool/form for our sponsor.
