The Worcester Community Project Center operates four terms per academic year, running from mid October through late June. Each “project term” the WCPC students complete 4-7 projects for the greater Worcester community, totaling 12-21 community based projects per academic year.
Students completing their Interactive Qualifying Project (a.k.a. community engagement project) at the Worcester Community Project Center begin researching their project in the term immediately preceding their project experience. This translates to students working on these projects for 14 weeks.
These student project teams, share their work with their sponsors, advisors and community members through manuals, published reports, visual media sources and presentations at the conclusion of their project term.
Please check out the specific project pages for additional information on project challenges and accomplishments.
