Creation of a Climate Action Plan for the Town of Auburn
The Project
The goal of our project team is to enact a draft of a Climate Action Plan (CAP) for the municipal government of Auburn, Massachusetts. Using information drawn from case studies, interviews, and surveys we will educate the Auburn residents on the effects of climate change, as well as set a framework for implementation of a CAP. Our project team will also be using the International Council of Local Environmental Initiatives (ICLEI) 5 Milestone program to guide our efforts in drafting the CAP. Our expectation is to complete a draft CAP during the seven weeks we will be working with the town of Auburn.
