This is the website for the Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) student chapter of the Association for Women in Mathematics (AWM). Our WPI AWM Student Chapter aims to encourage, support, promote, and bring awareness to the wonderful work of women in all areas of the mathematical sciences. We bring in a variety of seminar speakers each school year, host professional development events and have SK every year for middle school girls to create an awareness to all the work women currently do and can do in the future with math!
AWM will be having Dr. Elisenda Grigsby from Boston College as our D-term speaker! Here she will be discussing topology, geometry and combinatorics of neural network functions. This talk will be over Zoom. Please refer to the attached flyer for the abstract and more information on the event. Hope to see you all there!
