New Workshops Added!

The Academic Technology Center is pleased to announce the Canvas training schedule for May and June.  If you’re interested in moving your Blackboard course site to Canvas for this Summer or Fall, we highly recommend you attend a training session!  E-mail myhelp@wpi.edu to request to move your course site from Blackboard to Canvas.

Our “Canvas Basic Training” session will cover the following topics:

 – Importing content from Blackboard and other sources

 – Configuring your profile, communication, and notification preferences

 – Handling video and media

 – How to use Assignments, Discussions, Files, Pages, Gradebook, Quizzes, & Syllabus

Canvas Test Drive

Drop by the computer lab to try out Canvas for yourself. Learn the basics, orient yourself to the layout, and ask questions!  We’ll have a Canvas expert on hand to help. Sessions are informal, feel free to drop by anytime during the scheduled timeframe- no registration needed.
