STEM Week 2019 in Central Massachusetts
See Yourself in STEM!
The Massachusetts STEM Advisory Council has charged the Central MA STEM Network Ecosystem to coordinate STEM Week – October 21-25, 2019 in our region, and we want you to participate!
STEM Week highlights and celebrates all things STEM-related that we do in our region throughout the year. In 2019, we aim to emphasize students engaging in high-quality STEM activities and seeing themselves in STEM fields. We want to show the diversity of identities in STEM and the diversity of applications and careers that involve STEM. STEM Week aligns with our mission of delivering engaging STEM experiences to grow and nurture low-income and historically underrepresented youth in STEM throughout Central Massachusetts.
Activities for STEM Week include immersive, hands-on and project-based STEM learning in classrooms, problem-solving stories and activities at libraries, STEM professionals visiting classrooms, teacher professional development at museums, STEM challenges at out-of-school programs, and more!
