One Planet Living Comes to WPI

We are a group of students from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) working on our Interactive Qualifying Project (IQP) to bring the global initiative One Planet Living (OPL) to the campus. OPL has 10 sustainability principles that range from zero carbon, to culture and community, to health and happiness. We will be assessing WPI’s current sustainability efforts and collect any relevant data regarding WPI sustainability. Once we have collected and analyzed the relevant data , we will create an integration plan to implement these principles into WPI’s sustainability efforts, making WPI the first One Planet Living college campus in the United States.

For more information about the 10 OPL Principles, visit this website http://www.oneplanetliving.org/index.html
