AWM is excited to announce that for our B-term Seminar, Dr. Elizabeth Newman will be coming to give a talk on “Training Made Easy: Harnessing Structure and Curvature Information to Train Neural Networks Efficiently” at the Math Department Colloquium this Friday, November 17 from 11am – 12pm in UH 520. Join us for this great talk!
Afterward, we will be having lunch with the speaker from 12 – 1:30pm at the Armenian church. This will be a great opportunity to continue the conversation following her talk and have a casual social event with other AWM members. Hope to see you there!
