Congratulations Ryan Dillon on the 2025 Provost’s MQP Award

The PW program is pleased to announce that the winner of the Provost’s MQP Award for the most outstanding project in Professional Writing for 2025 is Ryan Dillon for the project titled Digital Rhetoric and Student Loan Repayment Resources: A Genre Criticism of Online Federal Financial Guides, advised by Sarah Riddick. Congratulations, Ryan!

We would also like to congratulate the runners up for the following PW categories:

  • Rhetoric and Society: Congratulations Noah Bedard for the project titled The Rhetoric of Well-being: Mental Health, Crisis Communication, and the Work of Care, advised by Yunus Telliel.
  • Health and Medicine: Congratulations Vishali Baker for the project titled Does Diagnostic AI Consider the Social Determinants of Health?, advised by Brent Faber.
  • Technical Communication: Congratulations Trinity Gibbs for the project titled The Use of Drone Surveillance in Law Enforcement: Analyzing Rhetoric and Language, advised by Shana Lessing.
