Student Awards

Congratulations to lab members for achieving several awards at WPI!

Graduate student Kyra Burnett was awarded the 2016 Alfred and Janet Potvin Award for academic excellence and service to the Biomedical Engineering Department for her dedication and organization of outreach events, including Touch Tomorrow and Introduce a Girl to Engineering, as well as representing the BME department in WPI graduate student governance.  This has become an annual tradition, following Ross Lagoy‘s win last year.

Congratulations to graduate student Dan Lawler, whose poster presentation at GRIE made the finals! Congratulations also to Dalia Shendi, graduate student in Prof. Jain’s lab and QNTL collaborator, for her first place in the PhD Life Sciences category.
