The website started as a project in A-Term of 2018. Members of the Public Relations committee discussed the feasibility of maintaining our original website with the IT department. After several meetings, we realized our old site was almost inaccessible and the hard code used to create it wasn’t feasible to upkeep. We opted to build it as a WordPress, making it easier for future senators to maintain. The web development team works to make sure that any documents and information uploaded is up to date and easily accessible for WPI students, alumni, and faculty.
This social media project aims to improve the spread of information across the WPI campus by utilizing Social Media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and our Website. The members of the communication team ensure that all posts are accurate and represent the SGA student body as a whole. We aim to help students find information in a fast and convenient way. Our Instagram also serves as a bridge between senators and the general student body so that students know who we are and feel comfortable coming to SGA for any of their needs!
