Summary For The Year:
After the now traditional miniFIRST kick-off competition, the Mass Academy students and WPI engineers began the six week long sprint to design and build the robot. Under the mentorship of WPI Engineers, Mass Academy students broke up into multiple sub teams to build a playing arena, paint the robot, alert the media, and of course, to cheer on the team at the competitions. A few experienced Mass Academy students played major roles in the building of Gompei such as writing code and fabricating pieces for the robot.
