Moving Your Courses Online

D-Term is going online and the TTL Team has put together many resources for faculty to help ease the transition. We’re got LOTS of trainings coming up this week for Canvas, Zoom, and Echo360, both in-person and online. Check them out and please RSVP (we are limited to 40 people in person).

We have a lot of technology options to help you engage with your students, find the tool that you feel most comfortable using and go with it. Don’t worry about being perfect!  We’re here to help you and we’re all in this together!

We know you may have concerns about how to deliver your courses effectively and also keep your students engaged in an online format. If you have questions about the pedagogy behind moving online, contact our Instructional Design team at atc-ttl@wpi.edu and they’d be happy to answer any questions you have or set up a training for you.

Tools & Equipment for Teaching Online

Our Canvas prep site is up and running with quick-start guides for tech tools, some “just in time” pedagogy tips for moving from face-to-face to online teaching.

The ATC office has laptops and document cameras available to help as well. Please contact atc@wpi.edu to inquire about the equipment available for loan.
