Project Outcomes
Abstract
This project focused on evaluating the Patent Application Text Initiative (PATI) program developed by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). We sent out a survey, conducted focus sessions, and held interviews with PATI users and read USPTO’s archival documents related to PATI. A list of recommendations emphasizing PATI improvements were presented to USPTO.
