The Washington Project Center partners with organizations in the D.C. area. Students encounter new challenges unseen in a typical classroom setting. They are fully immersed in a typical work routine, working closely with major government organizations, as well as with private and nonprofit organizations on projects that can have real-world impacts. These partnerships allow students an inside view into how some of our nation’s most important organizations operate.

Washington, D.C. offers a wide variety of activities. The city is famous for its museums (the Smithsonian, the Holocaust Memorial, and the Newseum), its presidential and war memorials (the Lincoln Memorial, Vietnam Memorial, Martin Luther King Memorial, and others), and the wide variety of government buildings (such as the White House, Capitol Hill, and Supreme Court).

The Washington, D.C. Project Center offers many unique opportunities for students looking to get the full IQP experience!
