Overview

The Massachusetts Water Resource Outreach Center (WROC) operates one term per academic year, from mid-March through late April. During the “project term” the WROC students complete 4-6 projects on stormwater management or drinking water supply related issues.

Students completing their Interactive Qualifying Project (a.k.a. community engagement project) at the Massachusetts Water Resources Outreach Center begin researching their project in the term immediately preceding their project experience.  This translates to students working on these projects for 14 weeks.

These student project teams, share their work with their sponsors, advisors and community members through manuals, published reports, visual media sources and presentations at the conclusion of their project term.

Please check out the specific project pages for additional information on project challenges and accomplishments.
