Learn How to Write a Resume

Filed in From the Staff by on January 26, 2012

On Monday night I went to the CDC event “Learn How to Write a Resume.” I was glad to see a lot of people there. The CDC has a plethora of ways to help someone find a job but many options are not available if one does not have a resume. A resume is essential when applying for a job, and a good one will make your job pursuit easier.

When people find out that I work in the CDC, I am often asked what the CDC can do to help one write a resume. If you’re trying to write a one, attend one of the CDC events on resumes. You can also look in the documentation in the CDC. If you have a resume already and would like to make it better, the CDC has walk-in critiques on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 1pm to 3pm. There are also opportunities for company representatives to critique your resume.

Best of luck!
