Alumni Networking at the Career Fair

Filed in From the Staff by on February 21, 2012

The amount of alumni who were at the Career Fair was very uplifting! Many were only a year or two out of college, and back to recruit their future coworkers. Using your network of graduated students that you may know is the best way to network. This is especially helpful if they are in your major as well, or if their company hires multiple majors. Part of getting my internship was defiantly due to networking. At the career fair in the fall I was able to talk to people who I already knew, and then was able to ask them questions to help me prepare my interview. Make sure you are always asking them about their companies and if they have anything available if you are interested!
