More than just your Resume

I feel as if I am only able to edit and update my resume in an attempt to procrastinate with other homework assignments. I would work on a resume instead of a lab report any day. So I worked on my resume with some updates, mark ups and reformatting ideas to bring in for my critique at the CDC thinking I had everything figured out. I’ve had my resume critiqued multiple times, but they were still able to improve my resume further with suggestions I hadn’t even considered.  I honestly wasn’t expecting that much help.

Another thing is I always get to Career Fairs thinking “now what?” I feel fully prepared with my resume critiqued, dressed better than I am the rest of the year but no idea what to talk to employers about. The CDC also helps out with that with “How to Work a Career Fair”. They really teach you how to properly interact and converse with employers. Definitely an event I’m going to try and attend!
