Career Fair is Tomorrow!

Filed in From the Staff by on September 20, 2011

Hi all!

Just 24 hours left before the career fair! It’s a bittersweet experience. While I am very excited to meet potential employers and learn more about job opportunities, it signals the end of my college career, but I’m trying not to focus on that part too much yet. I am pretty well prepared for the fair and I know what things need to be accomplished before tomorrow as well. I need to finish looking into all of the companies that I plan on visiting and going over my resume one last time before printing a bunch of copies. I also find that having an “elevator speech” (1 minute intro about yourself) well-rehearsed and  your outfit planned and ironed the night before is a great help for ensuring everything goes smoothly on the actual day. I wish everyone the best of luck tomorrow and I’ll let you know how it turns out for me!
